if my boards percentage less than 75 and next year i will qualify jee mains exam then i eligible to write jee advanced exam
Hello Aspirant,
If your boards percentage is less than 75 then you have to reappear for your boards to score atleast 75% because if you won't score this much , you are not eligible to give jee mains even if you clear jee mains with flying colours.
In addition to this candidate should pass from any recognised board or University.
You can give maximum three attempts in jee mains. If you have passed your 12th in 2023 then you can give two more attempts in year 2024 and 2025.
I am pass the jee ADVANCED exam can i pay to admission iit Bombay
Hi
You can apply for admission to IITB only once the JEE Advanced results are out, and once the exam is conducted in the first place. If you qualify the exam, you will be supposed to fill up your priorities of different colleges that are offered under JEE Advanced (through JOSAA Counselling).
JEE Advanced exam result based colleges
Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing great. In JEE Advanced, 148 points is regarded as a decent score, but as of right now, it is impossible to predict cutoff scores with any degree of accuracy. Cutoffs may also change depending on the number of applicants, the number of seats available, the difficulty of the test, and other variables.
And the top colleges with regard to marks will be depended and such that:
- Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati
- Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad
- Indian Institute of Technology Indore
- Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur
- Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur
- Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur
- Indian Institute of Technology Madras
- Indian Institute of Technology Mandi
- Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad
- Indian Institute of Technology Patna
- Indian Institute of Technology Roorke

There is no such official announcement regarding editing of JEE Advance form. You have to wait for the official announcement if you want to edit your application form. You can try emailing regarding your concern at this email address: jeeadv2022@iitb.ac.in (mailto:jeeadv2022@iitb.ac.in) . Although, I am not sure if you will be able to edit your application. can a second dropper appear JEE Advanced? (I passed my 12th in 2021 I got my result on 3rd August.) So can I appear 2023 JEE Advanced exam?
Unfortunately nor. Indian Institute of Technologies have collectively taken a decision that a student can attempt the Joint Entrance Examination Main only two times in lifetime. One time will be considered when he/she will pass class XIIth examination irrespective of the fact whether he/she appeared that year or not and the second time will be the consecutive year.
So, you won't be allowed to take JEE Advanced in 2023 if you first gave it in 2021. Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
my son got 48% in jee mains ST category he can write jee advanced exam for this percentile
Hello Sir/Mam,
See till now the official qualifying cut-offs have not been released and the qualifying cut-off percentiles are released along with final result of JEE-Main 2022 which will be released after both the sessions i.e. most probably in third or fourth week of August '22.
But o n such percentile, being a ST candidate he has GOOD chances to qualify for JEE-Advance 2022 but still the cutoffs for this year have not released yet officially.
As the cut-offs are released along with the JEE-Main 2022 result so for now you can get an idea from JEE-Main 2021 qualifying cut-offs that are enlisted below :-
==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 87.8992241-100.0000000 Percentile
==>> GEN-EWS - 66.2214845-87.8950071 Percentile
==>> Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 68.0234447-87.8950071 Percentile
==>> Scheduled Caste (SC) - 46.8825338-87.8950071 Percentile
==>> Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 34.6728999 87.8474721 Percentile
==>> PwD - 0.0096375-87.8273359 Percentile
Note that in above table it is not the actual cut-off for JEE-Main 2022 but previous year's cut-off.
You can check out previous year's cut-off trends from the link given below :-

i am residential of up but i gave 12 board exam from Bihar board due to low score in up board class 12, then right now i am able to give jee advanced exam from bihar board ( in bihar board i have scored 82.4 percent score) ??????????
Yes of couse youre eligible for jee advanced and congratulations for your result.
my friend got 76.88 percentile in jee mains 2022 can he qualify to write jee advanced exam
Hey,
As per the previous year cut off , it may be possible that you may not be eligible for the jee advance as the cut off for the CRL is around 90 percentile . If you fall in OBC, SC and ST category quota then it may be possible that you are eligible for the JEE advance. As the previous year cut off for the OBC is around 74 , for the SC is around 54 and for ST ,it is of around 44. But if you belong in an open category you should have to svore more than 90 percentile in order to get eligible for the JEE Advance 2022.
