Samriddhi 14th Sep, 2020
Hey there, seems like it won't create any major problem as there are already several chances for appearing so doesn't make any sense. Though it all depends upon the NTA itself.

how many maxi. marks out of 300 ( overall in 3 subjects) required for a general category candidate in Jee Mains 2021.,In order to qualify for Jee Advanced exam??? I mean what is safe score.. for 300 marks..?????? pls reply

akashkumarpati.2000 11th Sep, 2020

Hello Karthik,

As per my opinion, your question should be about the minimum qualifying marks required for JEE-MAIN in 2021. Because there can't be any boundary level for maximum marks in any examination, it's only dependent on your skill, practice level, perception and knowledge.

However regarding your query, at first I want to refer you to check the cut-off marks of recent and previous years which is accurately available in the following link:

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff

So after analysing these cut-off details prominently, it can be estimated that since you're a general category student, you have to manage almost 75-80 marks out of 300 next year to definitely become qualified for the JEE Advanced round.

So now start intense hard-working and try to be self-sufficient and well-equipped for your own betterment in the upcoming JEE-MAIN exam 2021.

Wish you all the best.

how can I get b.arch at IIT ? Is there any JEE advanced exam after qualifying JEE Mains b.arch ( paper 2) exam ?

Rayan Rego 29th Aug, 2020

IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur  are the only IITs that offer B.Arch courses.

There is a separate exam for getting admission here. you need to give the JEE Advanced AAT or IITJEE-AAT  .

Candidates who wish to give this exams must qualify the JEE Advanced first then only for a day the IITJEE-AAT registrations are kept open . Register and give the exams and then on the basis of All India Rank you will be called for admission.

So you need to give JEE Mains - paper 2 then JEE Advanced and then IITJEE - AAT

Thank you

why are IITs have this insanly difficult JEE Advanced Exam? why dont they follow admission process like that of MIT and Harvard where student are get involved in work realted to area of interest such as one does Scientific research, community service ,etc to get into MIT

ritikaprasad.work 3rd Oct, 2020

Hey there!

I understand why you would have this question, a lot of us think the exact same thing. The thing is the Indian education system is more focused in theoretical knowledge and grades so to say. It looks like it's changing slowly but till then we'll have to make do with what we have.
