i am eligible for ews but currently i dont have ews issued after 1t April 2022 then what should I upload during jee advanced registration

Neamah Fathima M R 11th Aug, 2022
If the candidates belong to any reserved categories they are required to upload that category certificate at the time of registration.you can apply for JEE-Main 2022 even if you don't have category certificate because if you belongs to either OBC-NCL or EWS category then there is a provision of self undertaking/declaration submission in lieu of category certificate for aforesaid categories. If you are eligible for EWS category, If you do not possess a VALID OBC-NCL/EWS certificate issued after April 01, 2021, you may submit a declaration in place of the certificate. However, you MUST upload a VALID certificate (issued after April 1, 2021) by October. Then it is fine.
Thank you

Hello aspirant,

There is no such official announcement regarding editing of JEE Advance form. You have to wait for the official announcement if you want to edit your application form. You can try emailing regarding your concern at this email address: jeeadv2022@iitb.ac.in (mailto:jeeadv2022@iitb.ac.in) . Although, I am not sure if you will be able to edit your application. JEE Advance schedule is mentioned on the website and there is no such schedule for application editing. You should try emailing at the above-mentioned address.

I am obc but I have got this recognition at state level only.i am gonna put EWS on registration form jee mains.but can I change it if get obc recognition at Central level till jee advanced registration to fill up jee advanced form as obc candidate

ANKITA SONI 24th Oct, 2021

Hello Buddy! Hope you're doing good.

As if you filled your category as EWS during JEE exam form fillup then your categoryrank is of EWS not of OBC. Soif  you can't get your category rank as OBC then you just can avail it. During 1st round the college will be alloted based on EWS category. Let if you get a seat then you have to produce a proof in the document verification round. Now, if you are not able to show them the EWS certificate then your seat will be cancelled and your category is updated to General category and you'll be moved to next round with General category. Hope this will help you.

I have uploaded In liu of obc ncl at the time of jee advanced registration 2021. Now if I will not upload the obc ncl before the said time that is 2nd October 5 pm then will they consider me under general category and if qualified I will get rank in CRL or will they cancel my candidature?

kajal Choudhary 28th Sep, 2021

Dear candidate as you can see according to new norms which is also updated on the jee advanced website it is clearly states that if you are unable to provide valid category certificate but still you have provided declaration then you would be counted under that mentioned category but during the time of josaa counselling you will be needed to upload a valid category certificate and if you fail to do that then your counselling would be done on the basis of your CRL and not on the basis of your category rank.

Hope this would help! Also you can visit jee advanced website in which this information is updated.

iam unable to upload my certificates at jee advanced registration how to upload

Suchana Datta 20th Sep, 2021

Hi,

Jee advanced portal asks for the certificates to confirm if you lie in the top percentile (20) of the total student of your board. This is one of the most basic criteria that should be satisfied by the candidate, in order to be Eligible for the admission to any IIT.

contact to zonal IIT, zonal IIT ( the iit which calculated and released my result) was IIT Roorkee,  .

This helped, and they will give you  ‘VERIFIED’ on the portal, and eligible to appear in the JOSAA counselling.

You can produce the certificates later on.

Hope this helps

Wish you luck

Ive passed12th CBSE boards in 2020,but didnt take JEE for 2 yrs, now I want to have another chance in JEEadvanced but its nt possible since Ive exhausted my stipulated 2 yrs time, but,Im hoping to retake boards through NIOS in 2022, im unsure if its result wud appear aftr jee advanced registration

ANKITA SONI 20th Sep, 2021

Hello Buddy! Hope you are doing good.

As you passed your class 12 in 2020 then you will not be eligible for JEE Advanced 2022 or 2023. For JEE Advanced eligibility criteria, the candidate is either appearing or passed last year their class 12 boards. Other eligibility for JEE Advanced is you must have to qualify JEE Mains cutoff and be in first 2,50,000 students. So if you are not giving JEE 2020 or 2021 then you are not eligible for further appearing for JEE Advanced but if you again want to give your class 12 boards then with that you can be appear for JEE. As you say you will give class 12 boards again in 2022 then you will be eligible for JEE Advance in 2022 and 2023 respectively (when JEE Mains cutoff clear). So study well, do your preparation for JEE and your boards too as in JEE you will be eligible for JEE Advance only when you qualify the cutoff. Hope this will help you.

In jee advanced registration form whenever I give additional email address Its always come as invalid. why? What should I do I have tried 4 - 5 different email address?

pandeyadarsh951 29th Dec, 2021

There might be some error from your side only or you might be entering invalid mail address like you might be adding some spaces or such things may be by mistake only but if you are sure from your side that you are entering correct information then you should contact jee advanced through the email addresses or contact number they would definitely sort out the problem.
