Hii Aspirant,

Due to the COVID-19 situation many colleges have cancelled their own exam and are taking students either on the basis of boards marks or JEE Marks. Institutions like VIT are not taking their own exam and are taking students on the basis of JEE MAINS and boards marks.

Sir, Ive secured 63% in JEE MAIN 2020 Paper-1 held during Jan 20. But Ive secured only 39% marks in 10+2 exam. Recently Govt has removed condition of min 75% marks as eligibility criteria for IIT & NIT. In the light of Govts above decision, am I eligible for admission to BE or B.Tech with 39%?.

As per Government decision it has been decided to remove the 12th board condition for the admission process of JEE Mains and Advance. So now the eligibility criteria is only based on the JEE marks.

So you are eligible to get enrolled for BE/B Tech course in any IIT/ NIT

I think at this percentile yo can expect rank between 85k-90k as you have mentioned your other details they can benefit you also it depends on  cutoff of Ict Mumbai and probably you may not get Chemical engineering but  option for other branches can be there. Hope this will

Hello,

For admission in VNIT Nagpur,being from gen-pwd category and home state quota,you need minimum of 83-84 percentile in jee mains exam so as to get CSE branch  as per previous year figures.
