my jee main 2020 obc category rank is 21649 and crl rank is 76249 . can I get cse, ece, civil, it, ee, in nit Or iiit in csab counselling ? Im from up

Hello Aspirant,

According to the category and rank you have mentioned in the question you cannot get any of the good NITs or IIITs with such branches even in CSAB counselling as per previous year's cut-offs but yes you can get some average NITs or IIITs such as NIT Hamirpur, NIT Meghalaya, IIIT Bhubaneshwar, IIIT Una and so on if you deserves the Home state quota for them otherwise I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks.

Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.

I got 69 percentile in jee main 2020 can I apply for jossa?

Hello,
To be eligible for JOSAA counseling, you must have qualified in JEE Mains by coring higher than the minimum cutoff marks for your respective category.

If you have not qualified in JEE Mains, hen you are not eligible fo JOSAA counseling and also for admission into NITs IIITs and GFTIs.
Also, Candidates must have qualified Class 12th or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of either Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subject as optional subject

hi sir/mam i had got 39143 crl in jee main 2020 so what should be my first preference for josaa and what are the opportunity for me

Dear Aspirant,

According to your rank,you may get some lower branches like Mechanical,civil, electrical etc. in Nits/IIIts/Gftis.

Now your first preference while applying for Josaa should be depend on your interest like which college you want etc.

So choose the best colleges and branches first and then move to some lower colleges so that if you not get seat in top colleges then you might get lower colleges.

Don't forget to select your home state college as chances are higher in that college.

my jee main 2020 CRL rank is 15780 and sc category rank is 302. In jossa counselling 2020 I got admission into nit Karnataka CSE , but Im participating in csab counselling and i want seat in nit trichy CSE and only one seat left in nit trichy CSE branch of open gender neutral can i apply for it?

hello,

Since you have only reservation in SC category and in NIT Trichy the seat is opened for open gender neutral seat you are eligiible to apply for it but as it has only one seat left its very difficult you will get the seat in CSE. NIT Trichy is the top most NIT in india so in order to take admission in this college you need to have a good rank. According to my research there is no seat available in NIT Trichy.

I got 21925 sc category wised rank in jee main 2020 which nit can I get

Dear student,

As you have secured 21925 rank in JEE mains from SC category then it is impossible for you to get a seat in NIT or IIIT or gfti in josaa all rounds counselling.
Because for getting seat from SC category in these colleges you must have to secure at least under 4000 SC rank. And your rank is much higher than 4000 then there is no chance that you can get a seat if you belong from other state, but if you try in CSAB counseling, then there is chance that you can get some of the good NIT like you can get NIT Warangal, NIT Trichy or NIT Allahabad and some iiits too.
But still there is no surety that the seats will remain vacant after josaa all rounds counselling.
But if the seats remain vacant then you have a good chance to get seat in a good NITs during csab counselling.

But if you belong from home state for some nits then with home state quota, you have chances to get some low nits (till 7th round counseling ) like : -

Nit srinagar
Nit arunachal pradesh
Nit manipur
Nit Meghalaya
Nit sikkim
Nit puducherry
Nit goa
Nit Agartala

Other wise with this much sc rank you can not get any nits if you belong from other state.

I got 31159 rank in jee main 2020 general category from maharashtra state. what should be my preference list for Josaa counseling to get in top NITs? I am interested in mechanical ,CSE , electrical, electronics branch

With a rank of around 31,000 in the general category, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in the top nits comparing the trends of the past years. The closing ranks for VNIT, Nagpur was around 28,000 in civil engineering and around 38,000 in mining engineering. My rank in Jee Main 2020 is 17546. Should I register for counselling?

First of all you haven't mentioned you category. Now assuming that you secure this much rank from general category, then congratulations you can get many good nits with this much general rank.
Along with some good nits you can also get iiits, even if you are not from home state quota.

You can get many good nits like nit rourkela, svnit surat, nit hamirpur, vnit nagpur, nit andhra pradesh, etc.

So, you must participate in josaa counseling.
Because you have a very good chances of getting many good colleges.

According to your rank and based on previous year college cut off their are many NIT colleges where you can get seat some of them I listed here :-

NIT Rourkela
IIIT Nagpur
IIIT Haryana

As you know that above list is based on previous year cut off and cut off changes every year so some colleges may you get or may not get.

I have got 91.171 percentile in jee main 2020.Can i get any nit.My home state is odisha.My crl is 95137 and in obc category is 27837

Dear student,

As you have got 91.171 percentile score in JEE mains 2020, with CRL rank 95137 and obc rank 27837, so there is no chance that you can get any nits.

As you home state is odisha then also by applying your home state quota you can not get nit rourkela.
And also you can not get any seat in lower nits too.
Even from your obc category rank you cannot get any nits.
But still it's advisable to participate in josaa counseling and try your luck, though you will not get any nits.

Or you can better try at some other state colleges or private institutions.
