The Application Form will be available online 2 months before your exam session month. Like for February 2021 Exam, the Application starts from December 2021. For May 2021 Exam, the Application starts by February 2021. The Result will be declared by the last week of those respective exam months. The Counselling Process will start on June or July 2021.

There are various institutes that take up admissions into engineering courses through JEE Main, and they have their own reservation criteria.

Under Central government there is 15% reservation for SC candidates.
Key points :
- All the Indian Institutes of Technology are under the central government and thus, they follow the All India Quota while offering admissions into engineering courses.
- Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) -Admissions into IITs are based on All India Quota as well as Home State and Other State Quotas.
- Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) -As per JEE Main reservation criteria in GFTIs, admissions are made on All India Quota basis except forBirla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi andIIEST Shibpur wherein home state quota and other state quota is applicable, National Institutes of Technology (NITs) offer engineering admissions as per State Quota and Other State Quota basis.
- According to JEE Main reservation criteria in the NITs, 50% seats stand reserved under home state quota for eligible candidates, while the rest of 50% are left for candidates of other states. Herein, the Home State Quota stands for reservation for candidates belonging to the state where the particular NIT in question is located.

Their is no official notification from the officials yet, but going by previous year you can expect it to be released in first week of December. It could also be delayed as the councelling for 2020,is still going on.

when is the date for 2021 jee main application form
JEE Main 2021 Application process will get started from first week of December 2020 through online mode.
Students will be able to register themselves for JEE Main through NTA website.
For the April session, the registration will begin from first week of February 2021.
Students are advised to register through valid mail id and phone number. Complete details will be sent to it by the authority.

sir i fill current adress in jee main application form but i have all the documents with permanent adress and in adhaar card also i have permqnent adress. will it create any problem in councelling or at the time of admission in nits . plz sir tell me??
I don't think it will create a huge problem if both the addresses belong to same state. As you have enough supporting document such as Aadhar card and Birth Certificate, you won't face a huge problem I guess. Make sure to mention the correct address during JoSAA application form fill up. Don't worry, it's a mere issue and the authority will handle it with care. Good luck.
hi, in my jee main application form my category is obc-ncl but I Dont have proper certificate . i want to change my category obc to general. my jee main percentile rank is 99.128. what should I do ??

If you have provided option for ews certificate at the time of application you can submit certificate or else if you have caste certificate or any other reservation certificate you can submit at the time . If you have any doubts you can contact your seniors they will help to pass through it so that you will be clarified

Yes you can change the category. As you mentioned that you have the certificate of EWS category, you can use it as a supportive document while taking admission through JEE Advanced. Hello dear student,
If you have not applied for the EWS category during the filming of form now you will be considered into general category candidate. Even the correction window was open till July 15, 2020 for the students who wanted to make changes in the application form. I am sorry to tell you but now nothing can be done you will be considered in general category even though you have the EWS certificate.
