I have qualified my jee main exam in 2021 .Am I eligible for jee advanced 2022??

Shubham Dhane 3rd Nov, 2021

Hello,

No you will have to give JEE Main 2022 to be eligible for JEE Advanced 2022. You cannot directly give JEE Advanced 2022. First you will have to give JEE Main 2022 get the cut off score and then give JEE Advanced 2022. National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the JEE Main 2022 exam in four sessions - February, March, April, and May. The JEE Main 2022 registration process will start tentatively in November on NTA JEE Main website jeemain.nta.nic.in. JEE Main dates 2022 will be notified soon.

my obc rank is 50489 in jee main exam. can I get addmission in coep for mecanical branch

Amita Kashyap 4th Dec, 2021

Admission in COEP through JEE mains are reserved for only 15% seats in All India quota, the rest are through MHT CET. If you want to get admission through jee score then you should score a very high rank.

It seems doubtful that you can get admission in mechanical branch of coep. The institute is highly reputed and is one of the best colleges of Engineering, so the competition is very tough.

Imagine,I have passed JEE Main exam and i took admission in NIT.after that,I have a thought about writing JEE Advanced and I have decided to appear in JEE Advanced. After the exam i am passed with a good percentile. So,I have decided to enter in a IIT. CAN I TAKE admission in IIT under these Condition

Anurag Khanna 16th Oct, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

I am writing the condition under which you can do above process.

Suppose you passed your class 12th this year so you are eligible for JEE-Advance 2021 and 2022 provided that you qualify JEE-Main 2021 and 2022. Now you appeared for JEE-Main 2021 and got good rank and got qualified for JEE-Advance then somehow in JEE-Advance you did not score well but due to good score in JEE-Main you can easily get any NIT so you take admission in the allotted NIT and then what you can do is next year in 2022 you have to again appear for JEE-Main and qualify it and then appear for JEE-Advance 2022 and if you score good marks in JEE-Advance then you can definitely withdraw your admission from current NIT and can transfer to IIT on the basis of your JEE-Advance rank.

Also note that even if you have not appeared for JEE-Advance 2021 then also you can appear for JEE-Advance 2022.

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

I have give jee main exam and I got 500000 in general rank but I am obc candidates so my rank now it 300000 rank and I have participated in upcet 2021 councelling for btech and my obc category certificate is verfied but when college alloted, it was given on general rank why ?. it was lower college

sknathani75 12th Oct, 2021
Hello Aspirant,
AKTU is taking admission through JEE Mains rank for first time. So there is no prior data about it. But according to your query, the college alloted you is on the basis of your category but with general rank. Let me explain you with an example. For any college general students get seat at 5 lakh general rank but obc candidates get seat at 3 lakh. So, in both cases general ranks are considered but for OBC candidates lower general rank is taken as compared to general category students.
