No, there is no such criteria that student has to attend both the exams as it totally depends on the student as what all exams he/she wants to give. Also, if you want to get admission in B. Tech/B.E then you can choose paper 1 only but if you are interested in B.
Yes, you should give both paper of Jee advanced 2021. As jee advanced is for selection to IIT colleges, it has nothing to do with your mains exam. If you get selected with higher scores in mains exam, its good for you to give both exams of advanced level. As it will help you to boost your score and you can get good ranks. If you score higher in other attempt, you will get a better college for engineering that will help you with good placements.
Hello Aspirant,
As per the rank and category mentioned by you in the question you have good chances to get the enlisted NITs for Architecture course :-
==>> NIT Hamirpur
==>> NIT Raipur
You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the official website of JOSAA as given below :-
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
So you can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India on the basis of your JEE-Main 2021 result :-

Hi,
Following are the Opening and closing rank of B.Arch courses in NIT Trichy in Round 6 of JOSAA:
Home State- Architecture250439
Other State - Architecture141251
Your Rank is close the closing rank of NIT Trichy. You could get seat in NIT Trichy if cutoff remains a bit lower than previous year.
If you are interested in Architecture then only you should go for it. B.Arch courses requires skills. If you don't have any such interest in Architecture, then you should not do it. Your Career in Architecture depends on how well you are at your skill.
I hope this will answer your query.
Thanks!!!

Hey aspirant!
Congratulations on your score. And every college has their different cutoff according to their standards. Hence, it depends, in SC category, what will be the eligible colleges for you. So here are some college lists that you can choose for according to your CRL JEE Mains rank .
Hello Aspirant. You mentioned you belong to OBC-NCL category and that you are a female candidate. You want to know whether you have any chance to get admission at School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada.
Well, based on your performance and previous years' data, it is less likely for you to get admission to SPA, Vijayawada as your marks is not up to the par. In 2020 , JEE Main Paper 2 Cutoff Category Rank prescribed for admission to B.Arch and B.Plan were 481 and 605 , respectively (for OBC-NCL Female).
To know more about cutoff trends at SPA, Vijayawada, consider visiting this page:

I hope you find this information helpful. I wish you all the best for your future and success.
Thank you.
The Seat allotment in JOSAA Councelling depends on various factors like:
Your profile says , you belong to Tamil Nadu. So , your Home State quota falls under NIT Trichy. NIT Trichy did offer Architecture course but it has higher cutoff. For Last year, NIT Trichy has closing rank of 439 for OBC-NCL Category. For the other Institutes, Last year the closing rank for Female quota was under 1000 OBC NCL rank. This rank is for Out of state quota. With your rank, it would be Difficult to get seats in JOSAA. Since there is limited seats of Architecture in NITs & GFTIs, so the closing rank remains low.
Thanks!!!!
