iammohdshareef 4th Sep, 2020
Hello kid,
.
No matter what it is. Examination, written document, announcement, NA will always stand for not applicable or not available.
.
NA is written when it's not required or not applicable. When there the blank is not required to fill or not mandatory NA will be used

i got 61 % in board exam my jee mains result is 81% im sc candidate... can i able to get the seat in nit or iiit.. pls reply me i want the answer

Stuti Jain 8th Oct, 2020

Hello student.

Hope you are doing well.

No but you are not eligible for getting seat in iiit or nit as your percentile is too low.

You must score more than 98 percentile to think of getting admission in nit or iiit.

But you can choose some other college of your choice. Here's a link that may help you in choosing a suitable college for you :

  • Students securing qualifying marks have to apply and participate in the JoSAA counselling process.
  • Students need to fill choices in the counselling process and they have to select BIT Mesra as the preferred college while doing the choice locking.
  • Based on AIR in JEE Main through CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) / JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) admission is offered to the eligible candidates.

can I get NIT or IIIT with my jee mains result is 71 percentile and I belong to general category. if possible then please tell their names.

Garvita 12th Sep, 2020
Hello,

Sorry, based on last year's cutoff it looks difficult for you to get admission in any of the NITs, but you can try for JOSSA counselling or state level counselling, also don't be upset if you won't get any NITs as there are many good colleges accepting JEE main percentile, you try in those Colleges.

To know your chances of admission in state level counselling or JOSSA counselling, you may refer to our college predictor tool.

According to your mark, if it is your class 12th mark, it always give you advantage in getting seat to computer science engineering.

But as of right now, so many state and central organisation's are conducting exam, which if you score well, you will definitely get scholarship along with admission selection to the best college in INDIA or State for the course : Computer Science Engineering.

For any detail on colleges or cut-off  mark you can always refer to the career360 college predictor using the link i mentioned below :

If I do not get my OBC certificate at the time (before the jee mains result) then am I consider as a general student? because I changed my general (January) category to OBC (spetember) and which percentile is counted January or September ?

S. Saha Student Expert 19th Jul, 2020
As you have noted yourself as an OBC category candidate in the application form of Jee Main, you have to provide proper documents to support your statement. And if you are unable to provide your OBC Caste certificate during counselling, your candidature will not be cancelled but you'll be no be considered for admission under OBC category. You'll be automatically transferred to general category and your general rank would be considered for admission to engineering colleges. If you have applied and appeared for both the sessions of Jee Main - i.e. January and September, best of the two marks will be considered for admission.
