Jharkhand
Hey there!
Well it is not possible to tell anything about admission in NITs or any other institute because admission to any institute is totally depends on rank of student and closing rank which is decided by college itself.
These things are depends on various factors like:
1- Difficulty level of examination
2- No. of students appeared in exam
3- No. of students seeking to take admission in institutes
4- Category of an individual and many more
--------As currently we do not have any exact info about closing rank and all, so it is not possible to tell about admission.
--------However we can get a rough idea of admission by analyzing previous year trends of closing rank and cut offs of various NITs.
---------With 89 percentile, your general rank would be anywhere in between 112530 to 126500 as per our JEE Mains rank predictor tool
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
and your OBC category rank would be anywhere in between 25000 to 30000
Hence by considering these data you have low chances for getting NIT Jamshedpur as closing rank for OBC home state is around 15000, also closing rank of various NITs for OBC category is around 20000 hence you have low chances for getting in to any NITs

Hello Shalini,
First of all congratulations that you are eligible enough to get at least a Government Medical College for MBBS.
See, if you don't want to study for NEET all over again for 1 Year, then you should surely go for this newly established medical college.
But, if you want a better medical college and also have a great dedication inside you regarding your studies, you can go forward with Drop. If you study properly, work hard on weak topics, clear all your concepts and practice more and more number of MCQs then you will surely come out with flying colours.
It's also true that if you go to newly built medical college, there will be something or the other deficiency in the college. But, getting the Medical College is itself a biggest achievement for any NEET aspirant.
Here I told you all the pros and cons of your case. Decision is purely yours.

Hi aspirant...!
Hope you're doing great...!
So, with regard you're query. You can take the JELET test if you have a diploma in engineering or technology from a reputable university with a minimum aggregate percentage of 45 percent for the general category and 40 percent for the SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, and PWD categories. For Marine Engineering, all DG shipping regulations must be followed. The exam has no upper age limit for applicants who have diplomas in technology, engineering, or pharmacy. However, the maximum age has been set at 25 for marine engineering diploma holders. Additionally, there is no domicile requirement. You can learn more about the exam, eligibility, exam format, counselling procedure, and last year's cutoff by clicking the link I've provided down below.

Hello,
As far as your rank is concerned it's a very dicy situation because as per the previous year trends the cut off was around 1-1.2L. BIT Sindri does not release the cut offs . The seats are alloted on the basis of the state ranking obtained in the jharkhand counselling on the basis of jee mains scores.
So, i would request you to kindly keep other colleges as a backup because it's a very neck to neck situation where you would get a seat or me. At maximum you would get production department in this college.
This college is an emerging college and the placements in core sector is strong here.
Hello Shivam,
Congratulations for your result. 92.8 percentile is a good score. It is quite difficult to predict the exact rank as the trends changes every year because it depends on many factors like number of students appeared, shift, toughness, etc.
But we can predict your result based on the previous trends. With 92.8 percentile your CRL-AIR will be around 73656 - 82800 and your OBC rank will be around 18000 - 20000. You can verify your rank by using our rank predictor tool which is given below:
In order to get a seat in NITs, you need to score at least 95 percentile as per past year trends.
Thus, with 92.8 percentile, chances are quite low for NITs.
If you want to check the list of colleges for which you are eligible, you can go through our college predictor link which is given below:

Thank you and all the best for your future.
