i am getting 480 marks in neet 2020 and from j&k OM... will i get any chances in govt medical colleges??

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 23rd Oct, 2020

Hi

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then you do hold a chance ,

For example,

in neet  2019, 476 marks for general category get a seat in Government Medical College, Rajouri under Jammu and Kashmir state quota

So, with 480 marks    you hold  a  chance in a Government Medical College under Jammu and Kashmir state quota

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but  cutoff keeps changing every year depending upon many factors as mentioned earlier, so to have a clear picture of the colleges in which you have chances and
to get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

It gives you a personalized report with top college in which you have chances for admission , with the help of predicted colleges you can make better choice while filling your choices of colleges during your counselling

Thankyou

which ipu colleges with which branch can I get with 22 k obc rank? ( home state J&K)

Anjali Kumari 22nd Oct, 2020

Hi Buddy,

YES!

85% of total seats are reserved for students who have completed their schooling from a Delhi school.

27% seats are reserved for Delhi OBC Category belonging to the list of OBC castes in Delhi. The reservation will be available only in the University Schools of Studies and other Government Institutions. Students will be admitted in this category on the submission of a certificate to this effect from the Competent Authority of the Government of NCT of Delhi. Certificate issued by Govt. of India will not be accepted under any circumstances. The reservation for OBC Category is only for candidates
who are from Delhi Region. A certificate issued by a Competent Authority of Delhi to an individual on the basis of Caste Certificate of his/her parents from another state will not be accepted for claiming a seat under OBC Category. Reservation in OBC Category is not applicable for Master's Level and Post Graduate Diploma programmes.

Thank you

do the people of j&k have to fill the form separately for nlus?

Mimansa 6th Sep, 2020

Greetings aksha!

No you don't have to fill form for NLUs separately, there is only one common form i.e. clat entrance exam registration form which you will have to fill. As you must already be aware, that CLAT is the common entrance exam to get admission into 22 different NLUs all over India. However their are 23 NLUs in total. admission into national law University delhi is based on its own entrance exam called AILET.

Reservation in these entrance exam is offered to below categories :- SC/ST, PWD, state quota for the candidate in which NLU is located, obc, kashmiri migrants, candidates belonging to north east.

Here's a link to an article to help you further. https://law.careers360.com/exams/clat

Hope it helps.

as i belong to obc category ,ward of defence personel nd area near LOC then atleast how much marks i needed to get into any of the GMC in J&K

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 19th Aug, 2020

In 2019, under State Quota, 450 marks secured a seat in a GMC under ALC Category. But this is 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. For a seat in a GMC in NEET 2020, you should atleast aim for 500. And if you are preparing for NEET, you may as well try our NEET Knockout package: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/ . And because you have 25 more days to prepare for NEET, you may as well use this opportunity. Meanwhile, there are many fake online petitions going on asking you to fill up google forms to postpone the exam. Do not fall prey to it. It is the Government that has to take a call and these forms dont reach the Government. Instead you will be giving out confidential information. So be careful

How many marks obtained from NEET 2020 for MBBS IN AIIMS IN INDIA, MBBS IN J&K Govt. Colleges and MBBS in Govt colleges Delhi?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 15th Sep, 2020

Vasu, Jammu and Kashmir doesn't participate in All India Counselling and so if you do not hold the domicile of this State, you cannot take admission in Medical Colleges of Jammu and Kashmir. And similarly if you belong to Jammu and Kashmir, you cannot participate in All India Counselling. And we also need to know your Category because each Category has different cut offs for each College. And cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. For complete list of colleges that you may have a shot at, please use our College predictor: https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

saheli samaddar 12th Sep, 2020

Hello,

Congratulations for your achievement.

It’s difficult to tell you the exact about your admission possibilities but as per the

previous year cutoff as a general category the chance seems less to get a seat in NITs,

IIITs & GFTIs however you can try for state counseling like Punjab, Haryana, MP, Etc.

To know your admission chances in JOSSA & State counseling you can use JEE Main

college Predictor tool

You can go through the links below for getting the correct details.
