Can i get admission in any university for M.Sc. Biotechnology with a jnu ceeb rank of 168(OBC).

Anirudh Bhat 1st Jul, 2019
Hi
Jawaharlal Nehru University will release its cut off anytime soon. so I would advise you to wait for the cutoff to come out and then you will get a clear picture whether you can get into JNU or no. The predictions for this year cut off for masters in biotechnology for OBC is around 170 marks. But nothing is your yet so I would tell you to wait till the cut off are out. Please keep checking the JNU official website.
Good luck

Hi dear,

Hope you are doing well!

Now let's go through your question.

As you will be knowing that Jawaharlal Nehru University Combined Entrance Examination for Biotechnology (JNU CEEB) along with JNUEE exam is being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) from May 27 - May 30, 2019.

About a total of 1,16,558 candidates have registered for both the exams this year. Till 2018, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) conducted both JNUEE and JNU CEEB exams.

JNU CEEB exam is conducted in order to offer admission to aspirants in Biotechnology programmes offered by the JNU as well as its participating colleges.

The JNU CEEB  announcement of results will be most probably on third week of June.

Steps to check the results:

  • Keep the application number or registration number in place.
  • Visit the official JNU website - www.admissions.ntajnu.nic.in.
  • Click on the link “JNU CEEB 2019 Result”.
  • A new page will appear where you can select whether they want to check the result using the application number/ registration number.
  • You will now be redirected to a new webpage where their score cards will be displayed.
  • You must keep a tab of their results and also take a printout of the same for future reference.

Thank You & All the best!
