JNU conducts entrance examination for different master courses. The exam is named JNUEE. The tentative date for the examination was to be between 16th May-30th May,2021. But it seems that it will get postponed due to the high positive rates in the second phase of Corona.

I hope you are doing good. I would glad to inform you that their is 7.5 percent reservation criteria for STS .JNU has 31 total seats for masters of science in physcis which shows theirare almost 2 or3 in physics department for msc. Candidate should have atleast 55 percent in graudation to appear in JNUEE entrance exam . Moreover, you need to score very good to clear the cutt off as competiitionis very high due to highno. of applications

When will the date of JNUs entrance exam arrive in 2021?

Hi Dear,

National Test Agency (NTA) will release dates for Jawaharlal Nehru University  entrance exam date. The official dates for JNUEE and application form release is not announced yet. The JNU application form 2021 is expected to be released in the first week of March.

JNU Entrance Exam is conducted in online mode in MCQs format for a duration of three hours in English, there are a total of 100 questions, each carry one mark, there is no negative marking scheme, the syllabus for MA Economics entrance exam at JNU consists of Micro-economics with topics such as Demand Curves, Price and Income Elasticity of Demand, Cost Curves, Equilibrium of Firm under Perfect Competition and Monopoly , Macroeconomics with topics such as National Income, Theories of Income Determination, Monetary Policy, Trade and Balance of Payments
Descriptive Statistics with topics such as
Mean, Median and Mode, Standard Deviation, Correlation Coefficient , Elementary Probability Theory , Mathematics for Economists with topics such as Elementary Algebra, Coordinate Geometry and Elementary Calculus. Hello dear,

10+2 or appearing with a minimum of 45% is mandatory for a bachelor in foreign languages.

Regardless of your language choice, JNU conducts a common entrance exam for all candidates.

The questions will be in English, and it is a Computer-based test (CBT).

The syllabus comprises general knowledge, artificial language, general English, and language aptitude.


Thus,you must focus on the above mentioned subjects in order to clear the entrance exam.

You will need a lot of reading to help you in the comprehension section. You will need speed to help you in this section and you can achieve that only by thorough practise and reading. Books that can help you are:

Word Power Made Easy (by Norman Lewis)
This is the go-to book to improve your vocabulary. It is not a book to be read but a book to work with daily to enrich your vocabulary.

High School Grammar and Composition( by Wren and Martin)
It is a very good book for people who want to improve their grammar skills. It helps to understand and conceptualise different aspects of grammar and it is a must have book for anyone with poor grasp on verbal ability or who wants to make up with the basics of english.

And section 2 has descriptive type questions for 50 marks.
