Yes, if you want admission in humanities stream then you need to have maths but if you want admission in science stream then Maths is must.

I'd like to inform you that JNU is responsible for admission in Pune University. Admission to M.Sc . Biotechnology is done through Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) conducted by JNU, New Delhi for several DBT-supported participating Universities/Institutes in India including Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Yes, genetic course is available in Jawaharlal Nehru University.

You can check the programmes the university offers for the course on its official website.

It conducts entrance exam for the same. The questions generally asked on the base of bachelor's level.

The question paper for entrance exam is divided into 2 parts and you will have to prepare accordingly. The multiple choice questions will be asked.

The total number of questions will be 30 in part A

Part A - It covers the basics of engineering. Technology and pharmaceutical.

JNU offers a variety of courses at post graduation level whereas for undergraduation there are limited courses that too in foriegn languages. There is no course related to humanities at ug.
For Post graduate humanties courses, you will have to appear for different entrance exams depending upon subject
