The admission in NITs & CFTIs for M.Sc Programmes is through CCMN counselling after clearing IIT JAM Entrance Exam. As per the eligibility, To apply for CCMN counselling,You must have 60 Percent minimum (General) and 55 Percent minimum (SC/ST/PwD) marks in the qualifying degree examination. You can check

Congratulations on clearing IIT JAM. I am sorry to tell you in genrgen category you can not get an IIT with a three digit rank. NIT are also a slim chance. Last year the closing rank for biotechnology was around 50 in IIT.

For admission in MSc Chemistry through IIT JAM the eligibility criteria laid down for admission in this course, requires you to study Chemistry for three years/six semesters in your Bachelors degree and also study Mathematics as a subject in Class 12th. Hence you need to have studied Chemistry

IIT JAM exam conducted for UG graduates to get M.Sc. admission in top IITs, IISc, etc. So this exam only consider UG marks and there are no such requirements for HS marks, they don't have any criteria for HS marks.
