Minimum marks varies every year with branches and increasing seats with opening of newer IITies.Generally double the cutoffs marks for various category is the minimum marks required to get into IITies.

JAM 2019 exam will be conducted in two sessions for seven papers. Session 1 will include Biological Sciences, Mathematics and Physics.
Session II will include Mathematical Statistics, Biotechnology, Chemistry and Geology, The entrance examination will be conducted for a total of three hours each.
