moreover rather then colleges there are some particular Courses Which need maths as compulsory.

But as you said you want to study biotechnology.

The IIT JAM exam is held for admission into MSc and integrated courses in the six subjects that are Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Geology, Mathematical, Biotechnology.
