i have got 73 percentile in jee 1..am i qualified for advanced? will i get a seat i any nits?

as per your percentile you may get a rank close to 2.3 lakh and as this year 2.31 lakh candidates are qualified so you may be just qualified for the jee advanced or you  may be not. you can get a seat in nits like sikkim,mizoram etc. through home

Hello Ishika!

If 150000 is your GENERAL CRL rank then yes you are eligible for JEE ADVANCED. If CSAB special round cutoff is conducted then you may get a seat in lower NITs and GFTIs. Be flexible with your choices during the choice filling process to confirm a seat.

Hello Shreya! Yes it is important to upload jee mains and advanced marks on IISc website if you are applying on basis of jee mains or advanced marks. If you are applying through Kvpy then its not necessary. It takes admission on basis of following exams.

First of all, JOSAA does not help an individual in getting a college. They just provide you with the best college you deserve at your rank if you have filled it in your preferences only if there is a vacant seat in the college.

You can surely apply to IPU for B.Tech.

This is the first time when IPU is taking admissions on the basis of JEE Mains. So we don't know how it's going to unfold. We don't have any previous year data regarding this to predict

Hi dear,

If you belong from sc or st category then you have no problem but if you belong from general or obc category you must have under top 20 percentile which will release by your board.Aaccording to last year trend you are in a safe zone.

It can not be exactly predicted that you will qualify or not because still April exam is pending and result will be declared after April results.

Nearly 2.2 lakhs students will qualify for jee advanced ; so cut offs will depend upon other students also.
