I have applied for obc in jee mains but I dont have obc certificate. Will I be qualified for jee advanced ? If yes what will be my cutoff?

Hello nihal,
If you don't have obc certificate with you, definitely you will face problems during certificate verification.
If you prove wrong and they will not consider as an obc candidate.so your cutoff will increaseand will face many problems.
I reccomend you to apply for the certificate by the certificate

Hi ragini,

Whether you have qualified jee mains and are  eligible for jee advance or not will depend upon whether you have crossed the cutoff marks declared by NTA officially. This cutoff will be different for different categories of students. As of now, the cutoff have not been declared and

The final cutoff percentile for JEE Advanced eligibility- will be released later after the April exam and so you will have to wait for now.
However, your %ile score is good and so most probably you will qualify for JEE Advanced level exam.

     Yes you will attend the counselling as well as the jee advanced you can also give. Then after qualifying you will get iit and other good nit and iiit. So all the very best!

The approximate formula to calculate the JEE Main 2019 rank for January 2019 is:

JEE Main 2019 rank= (100- NTA percentile score ) X 874469 /100

Therefore your rank will be approximately 175396.

The cutoff percentile required to qualify for JEE Advanced is not released by NTA yet. And so you need to wait for now. It'll be declared after the April exam session.

Use this formula to predict the rank:

Rank Formula = (100 - your total score) X 874469 /100.

But here on the basis of the rank only the cutoff for college is decided.

If you get less than 224000 rank then you are eligible for the jEE advance.

The cut-off will be announced in April for jee advance, so you have to wait till april to know the cutoff for JEE Advance because it will depend upon the number of students appearing in April too.
