It is great that you wish to take up petroleum engineering. The general cutoff went from 5.2k to 8.3k and OBC-NCL cutoff was 2077 to 2095. The SC and ST cutoff was 1379 to 1759 and 667-928 respectively.
The cut-offs may vary if you belong to the state

The jee advance paper structure :-
JEE Advanced 2018 will be conducted for 2 papers – Paper I and Paper II. Candidates must appear in both the papers as it’s mandatory.
Both Paper I and Paper II will have questions from 3 sections – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

There is no as such any book for the whole syllabus for jee advanced you must prepare of what you are taught in class 11th and 12th conceptually thats it.
