Firstly You have to appear for examination of 12th Standard from science stream then It depend on how you are preparing for JEE Mains.It doesn't matter that anyone Having diploma should not qualify it To qualify JEE prepare for basic physics chemistry and mathematics from NCERT books and work hard.

Yeah there can be chances of yours getting an NIT if cutoff trends remain nearly the same as previous year. For Advanced also, i cannot predict about an IITs there trends vary every year.
