No you have to score minimum of 75% in 12th boards to get IITs......or to be in top 20 percentile of your respective boards

First of all you will have to understand that jee advanced 2017 was among one of the easy papers given in jee advanced also there were many errors in it so there were a lot of bonus marking which resulted in a sharp increase in cutoff as well as marks

No, JEE Main rank has no connection with JEE Advanced rank. You should have minimum marks to be eligible for JEE Advanced.
