I got 86.20 percentile in Jan 2020 JEE, is there chance for qualifying for JEE advance?

S. Saha Student Expert 19th Jan, 2020
Last year the cutoff was around 89.72 for general category candidates. The cutoff changes every year, so its difficult to tell exact qualifying marks for Jee Advanced eligibility but if you are getting more than 85 percentile score then you have decent chances to qualify for Jee Advanced.

sir my percentile in jee main 2020 is 74.0207333 . i am ST category student can i give jee advance....

Rishi Garg 18th Jan, 2020

With the percentile of 74.02, you will be qualified for JEE Advanced through your category rank. As the cutoff percentile for General Category is much higher than yours, you will not qualify through General rank, but since you are from ST category, you will be easily qualified for JEE Advanced
