According to NTA, a student can  attempt JEE Main exam twice in a particular academic session. However, as per eligibility criteria & the age for appearing in JEE Mains 2019, a candidate can appear in the JEE Exam for 3 consecutive years.

Qualifying cutoff for appearing in JEE Advanced for IIT admissions for OBC category is 74.3166557. You are not eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. You can take admissionin Engineering colleges through JEE Main rank.

According to your rank and based on the previous year cutoff, chances would be less of getting a seat in NITs, IIITs through JoSAA Counselling.

The qualifying cutoff for appearing in JEE Advanced  for SC category is 54.0128155. You are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced.


JEE Advanced 2019 registrations will open on May 3 and will be available till May 9.

Dear Aspirant,

The eligibility for JEE advance you have to score 89% if you belong to general category and 74% if you belong to OBC category. So according to that, you are not eligible for JEE Advance.
