You need to score in the range of 140 to 160 to qualify for lower NIT core branches like mechanical and civil.
And you need at least 160–180 for branches like CSE.

The cutoff changes every year, But by looking at the previous year cutoff I can say that the safe rank for HIT to secure a CSE seat is between 25k-55k. so it's little difficult for you to get a seat but you should apply for the counselling process
