JEE Advanced 2025 me SC category rank 4276 par kon kon sa IIT college mil sakta hai

Shubham Jha 10th Jun, 2025

dear student,

At an SC rank of 4276 in JEE Advanced , getting into older IITs (like Bombay, Delhi, Madras, Kanpur) isn’t possible — even for less popular branches, these usually close below SC rank 2000–2500.

Shubham Jha 10th Jun, 2025

Dear aspirant,

Don’t worry — your OBC certificate won’t be rejected just because of small name differences like “Kishor Kumar Roy” vs “Kishor Roy” or “Nitu Devi” vs “Neetu Devi.” These are common issues and usually not a problem during JoSAA counselling if handled properly.

Cutoff for jee mains through all courses

OISHEE BANERJEE 15th Jun, 2025

Hey student!

So basically, the JEE Main cutoff depends on which college and course you're aiming for. If you're trying for IITs, you'll need to qualify for JEE Advanced first. For that, the cutoff percentile is usually around 93 for General category, about 80 for OBC, and lower for SC

Shubham Jha 10th Jun, 2025

hello student,

To be honest, with 66 percentile in JEE and 74.4% in CBSE , you won’t get Electronics (VLSI) at SASTRA. The cutoff is way higher — people who got it last year had 90+ in boards and JEE percentile above 85–90 .

But you might get other branches

Kishan Bhakat 13th Jun, 2025

hi,

With a common rank of 1,97,721 in JEE Mains and an OBC (female) category rank of 67,502, you can definitely consider participating in JoSAA counselling. While it may be difficult to get top NITs or IIITs in core branches like CSE or ECE, you still have a chance to

OISHEE BANERJEE 7th Jul, 2025

Yes, even if you don’t qualify JEE Main 2026, you can still apply to many good private engineering colleges. Most private colleges have their own admission processes and don’t always require JEE Main scores. Some accept direct admission based on board marks, and many have their own entrance exams or
