If your category rank is of 6 digits, it's hard to say you will get NIT's based on it. But, you should get prefer to lower NIT's like NIT Patna and NIT Jalandhar. I prefer you to apply to government colleges of your state and other good private colleges.

With this rank it is not possible for you to get any government colleges. If you are from any reserved category then you have the chances. but surely you don't have any chances in NITs.
