According to the cutoff released the qualifying cutoff for ST caste is 39.0696101.

To get a college you must meet the admission cutoff which will be released by Jossa and the cutoff varies from institute to institute.

JEE Mains and JEE  Advanced are both tough as they are both national level exam. You must prepare yourself well and keep your concept very clear to successfully give these exams. However, if comparing between the two, for sure JEE Advanced is much more tougher than JEE Mains.

The maximum marks in jee mains is 360. The examination is divided into 3 sections:- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, having 25 questions each. There are total number of 75 questions.

In my opinion, Cengage series is better but it depends on you because everyone has a different taste. Arihant is also good so you should first go through the books and then you can choose accordingly.
For Physics - First complete NCERT, then HC Verma and then DC Pandey
