see  cutoff score changes every year and it depends on certain factors like number of participants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category ,, however you did not mention your domicile name, there is separate closing rank  for state wise and all india quota  as per category wise .

According to your rank there seems  very few chances of yours to get a seat in NIT's. The rank you obtained does not come under the closing rank of some NIT's required to get a seat in NIT's  when compared with previous years
