Jee mains exam In registration no column what should we fill there as I m currently 12th student

Aahana Rawat 1st Nov, 2025

Hello,

You do not need to fill the registration number column because it is not needed. You can fill your 12th class roll number on the 12th grade roll number column and that will be used to submit your application. Ensure you fill all the necessary information correctly.

SEJAL JAIN 2nd Nov, 2025

Hello

Yes, you can fill the JEE Main form even if your father’s name is different on the Aadhaar and 10th marksheet.
Use the name exactly as it appears on your 10th marksheet, since that’s considered official for exams.
Aadhaar is mainly used for identity verification, so a small mismatch

if my father is group c worker and have more than 8 lakh income but since for govrnament employees salary income doesnt count and salary income counts I got obc ncl certificate but in jee application form for family anyal income should I mention non salary income or salary income.

Sankalp Agrawal 1st Nov, 2025

Hello,

For JEE application, you must enter your family’s total annual income, including your father’s salary, even if your OBC-NCL certificate was issued considering only non-salary income. The certificate rules and the form details are different, so always fill the actual total income in the JEE form.

Hope you understand.

Rahul Mandal 2nd Nov, 2025

Hello,

Sorry, but it's unlikely you will get into NIT Rourkela Computer Science with a 99 percentile and OBC-NCL status under the Home State quota, as the closing rank of this category is very competitive and often falls within the top 8,000 ranks.

I hope it will clear your query!!

Rahul Mandal 2nd Nov, 2025

Hello,

In addition to JEE Main 2026, students should strongly consider sitting for JEE Advanced and key private university exams like BITSAT, VITEEE, and SRMJEEE. State-level entrance exams in various states are also valuable, especially if aiming for colleges within your home state.

I hope it will clear your query!!
