I am a cbse private candidate and gave jee mains in 2026 and wrote 12th appearing but i think I will fail boards as in 2027 if I write 12th appearing in jee main,again will nta reject my form? also I passed 10 in 2023 and 12 in 2027 will year gaps between 10th and 12th cause problem ?

In your case, NTA will not reject the form in 2027 provided you mark yourself as "appearing" as a private candidate if you have not cleared your board in 2026 attempt. You are also eligible to appear for the 12th board in 2027 to meet the criteria. The
