I came to know aboyt jee after my 12th , decided to take a drop this year and Im improving so slow . as i studied in a school where they preferred by hearting answers than understanding much. parents wont allow a second drop ,so can i prepare for jee again along with my collage

Sir i belong to bc category, converted christian from schedule caste under serial 16 A .Im giving my jee exam this year.im confused in which reserved category I have to go through whether Obc or general ews . which gives scholarship benefits.In my OG certificate Bc is mentioned!

Hello,

Since you belong to BC category as per your OG certificate but are a converted Christian from Scheduled Caste (serial 16A), you cannot claim SC reservation .

For JEE, reservation for OBC/BC is generally not available to converted Christians , and you can only appear under the General or

As i belong to bc category, converted christian from schedule caste under 16 A .but my OG certificate is BC only . so i am giving my jee exam this year I dont know which community to be reserved whether General ews or obc - ncl to take ,diff btw them ,scholarship benefits which withhold my future

i have gotten my ews certificate in september this year 2025 and jee counselling team asked that it had to be issued after 1 april 2026 and they are also demanding the ews application number in registration which is coming in november so i want to know can i renew it after 1 april 2026 or apply anew

You cannot "renew" your September 2025 certificate. You must apply for a completely new EWS certificate after April 1, 2026.

EWS certificates are linked to a specific financial year.

Your certificate issued in September 2025 is valid for the financial year 2025-26. It is based on your family's income

For JEE Main 2026, NTA has said that students should update their Aadhaar, category certificate, and UDID if applicable before applying. During registration, you will need to upload your 10th marksheet, photo, signature, and ID proof. The registration is expected to start in October or November 2025.

I belong to bc category,i gave my jee mains exam in past year .my cousin mistakenly applied it as general ews category. I am giving my exam this year now can i convert it into Obc or ews itself if I make it as obc will it become a issue in future.income is 2 lakh below sir Diff btw ews and obc

Hi! Don’t worry, you can correct your category this year while filling out the JEE Main 2025 application form. If you belong to BC/OBC category and have the valid caste certificate, you can apply under OBC NCL now. It will not be a problem if last year you had applied
