Generally an income certificate isn't required for the JEE Main registration, but if you want to claim the EWS quota, then you need this. I came to know aboyt jee after my 12th , decided to take a drop this year and Im improving so slow . as i studied in a school where they preferred by hearting answers than understanding much. parents wont allow a second drop ,so can i prepare for jee again along with my collage

Sir i belong to bc category, converted christian from schedule caste under serial 16 A .Im giving my jee exam this year.im confused in which reserved category I have to go through whether Obc or general ews . which gives scholarship benefits.In my OG certificate Bc is mentioned!

Hello,

Since you belong to BC category as per your OG certificate but are a converted Christian from Scheduled Caste (serial 16A), you cannot claim SC reservation .

For JEE, reservation for OBC/BC is generally not available to converted Christians , and you can only appear under the General or
