Hello aspirant,

If you have missed the josaa counselling, it is very difficult to get into colleges through josaa . I would recommend you to apply for those private colleges which takes admission also on the basis of jee mains scores .

The private colleges in West Bengal has 10 % reserved seats in every college for the jee mains candidates who wants to take admission through jee mains. You can also try for Thapar University and Delhi colleges like DTU, NSUT.

I Got 74% In My Boards Exams ( CBSE ). I want to know that am I eligible for Josaa Councelling For Getting Seats In NIT Through JEE Mains. , And If Not through Josaa Councelling , Will NIT Accept Me Through Other Councelling At 74% Boards Marks?

The jee mains eligibility criteria are as follows -

  • Candidates should pass from any recognised board or University in their class 12th.
  • Candidates should opt for physics chemistry and mathematics as mandatory subjects in their class 12th.
  • Candidates should secure a minimum of 75 percentage in their class 12th.

If you are not fulfilling these criteria then you won't be able to sit for the examination.

jee advance rank 20000 .which IIT college admissions chance in josaa

ayanmukherjee045 27th Sep, 2023

Hello Aspirant,

In my view there is no point in joining IIT considering you as a general category candidate if your rank is 20000 . You may chances to get the lowest branches but as per my view it's better to opt for nits if you have secured a good rank in jee mains . There are certain factors such as number of candidates appearing in the examination, previous year cutoffs and number of seats available in the college.

Is it required to upload a valid Caste certificate during registration of JEE ADV and JEE MAIN, or is it required only during josaa counselling?

ayanmukherjee045 30th Sep, 2023

Hello Aspirant,

For jee mains you can upload the declaration also if you belong to EWS SC or st category but in jee advanced you need to upload the original certificate as till that time you will get your certificate in hand . So, apply it on or after 1st April of the current financial year because only after that date your certificate will be valid for 1 year.
