According to UGC guidelines for academic year 2022-23 for fee refund till October 31, 100% tution fee is  refundable except 1000 processing charges.

Caution money and security deposit, should be refunded in full.

If you don't get refund then you can register your grievance at the UGC portal regarding fee refund. UGC will take punitive action against the institution.

They ask for submitting all the documents at the time of verification, if verification will be physical then you will have to get your documents and be there with your document at the time of counseling when they will call you at their institute. As previous years were of pandemics so it was online verification, now it may not be online.

For PWD ;- For pwd category, respective category rank is considered. For example, obc ncl p wd category rank in case of obc ncl pwd candidate, general pwd rank in case of general pwd Candidate and so on.

Hi,

Yes, you can participate in the CSAB counselling without participating in JoSAA counselling. For participating in the Central Seat Allocation Board candidates will have to register, pay the participating fee and upload the documents.

The candidates will have to log into their CSAB account using their JEE Main 2022 application number and password, the counselling fee is Rs. 21000 and candidates have to pay it via online mode.

Hi,

See, partial admission fee is different from seat acceptance fee. In 1st round during JoSAA counselling, suppose you are allotted a seat in a branch in some institution, and you want to choose float (upgrade it) and go for the next round - then also you will have to accept this seat first by paying the Seat Acceptance Fee. Then only you will move on to next round.

Now, by any chance if you want to retain this seat which was alotted to you (freeze it) that means, take admission in that college and not go for the next round - then only you will have to pay the Partial Admission Fee.

Yes, you can add IITs, NITs in your list at the same time during the JoSAA choice filling procedure. I'll tell you how.

If you qualify JEE Advanced that means you will be eligible to apply for IITs as well. Now, during counselling, you will have to do the choice filling part where - you can fill choices of IITs, NITs, IIITs, GFTIs simultaneously in any order of your preference in the same choice filling page.

Note that you should always keep your most preferred colleges and branches at the top of the list in that order in that way your chances of getting that college (provided to meet all the criteria) increases.
