Focus on enhancing technical skills of reporting, news design software, video editing, photography, etc. which are necessary for the field of Journalism and Mass Communication.

This course is an examination of the effect and impact of mass media on contemporary life and society. The courses focus on teaching skills like photography and its technique, enhancing the overall style of the writing, elements of graphic designing in the print media and Industry needs students who can design for print as well as online media utilising various tools and technologies.
Other modules give an insight into the press laws and ethics, constitutional laws governing the mass media, constitution and government, leadership and governance process, newspaper managerial aspects of newspapers, and structure of newspaper organisation.
The LPU students bagged a package of 10. 7 lpa this year. The average package was 3.2 lpa. LPU Students are working with media companies like Asian News International, Vistara, News-X, Radio Mirchi, Zee Media, Indian Express, Book my show, Thomson Digital, Xentrix Studio, Code Brew Labs, Cube Digital, and various other super brands.

Bachelor of Journalism and mass communication is a three-year undergraduate course for those who wish to pursue their careers in the communication and media field. The Delhi University does not conduct its entrance exam for admission into courses for journalism and mass communication or BJMC. The admission is down based on aggregated percentage in class 12th from any stream.
Eligibility criteria: Candidates who have passed their class 12th with a minimum score of 50% from a recognised board are eligible for admission into DU colleges.
But as everyone knows about the cutoff trend of DUM the admission has no doubt has become difficult due to the high competition.

Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi is an UGC approved NAAC grade A Accredited college with AIU membership. They offer MA in mass communication as a two years long full time post graduate degree course. The total fee for this course is approximately INR 5,000. To be eligible for applying for MA mass communication at BHU you must posses a minimum of 50%marks in aggregate for your graduation in any stream from a recognized University.
