is there an entrance for journalism and mass comm in DU?or is it on the basis of 12 th marks?

Anushri Varshney 25th Jul, 2021

Hi there,

Bachelor of Journalism and mass communication is a three-year undergraduate course for those who wish to pursue their careers in the communication and media field. The Delhi University does not conduct its entrance exam for admission into courses for journalism and mass communication or BJMC. The admission is down based on aggregated percentage in class 12th from any stream.

Eligibility criteria: Candidates who have passed their class 12th with a minimum score of 50% from a recognised board are eligible for admission into DU colleges.

But as everyone knows about the cutoff trend of DUM the admission has no doubt has become difficult due to the high competition.

A total of 7 colleges under DU offers this course and these are:

  • Delhi college of arts and commerce
  • Bharati college
  • Maharaj Agrasen college
  • Lady Shree ram college
  • Kalindi college
  • Institute of Home Science
  • Kamla Nehru college

I hope you get your answer.
