JRF Scholarship

Not eligible anymore EWS certificate anymore but applied for EWS Certificate NETJRF and cleared JRF in EWS category. What do I do? will I get JRF scholarship?

I have qualified Jrf in 2020 under the EWS category and at time I was egible for it. I have two certificates of the years 2020 and 2021. I got admission in phd in 2022. Is it mandatory to show the EWS certificate of the currrent year too for the activation of jrf scholarship. PLz help me out.

Hello Amir,

Yes, you have to show the Present year's EWS certificate as you have joined Phd admission in the 2022 year. So , a new, fresh and valid EWS certificate will be required in order to get Phd Admission in JRF.

So,m to avail the Scholarship too, you have to give a proof of your EWS certificate which must be issued on or after 1st April, 2022. The EWS certificate is issued for every financial year. In case if you don't have it or if it expires and you are facing delay in getting it then you can use an acknowledgment receipt or an affidavit.
