KNIT is a good and reputed college. getting an admission into this college is not a cup of tea for everyone.

JSS noida is good enough for students and any candidate who hold a rank below 10k can get an admission in branches like ECE,CSE,IT.

TO get an admission at KNIT you have to get rank below 100. You can it is like IET.

For general and for any non core branch like civil engineering the last cutoff rank is 3580.

Competition is higher at this college for it performance and facilities for the student.

Placements : Placements were good, all the deserving candidates were placed and many had 2-3 offers in hand. People had jobs with decent package and placement officer was good at our time. He helped and encouraged students for placements. We had pre placement learning programme as well.

Infrastructure : Infrastructure is good. We had enough space for playing games. Labs were good. Canteen was good and served various food items. We had open area to study during internals and examinations. We had enough space in classrooms as well. Hostelsiving in hostel.

Faculty : Faculty members were good, cooperative and helpful. Teaching methods were old ones but that was more than enough. Student to faculty ratio was 40:1. Industry exposure was not upto the mark. Curriculum was useful upto the some mark. We had lot of interesting subjects in our branch.

MSRUAS is coming up as a reputed engineering college in Karnataka. It has good infrastructure and faculty. Placement records are pretty decent. It is almost the similar case with JSS Noida. In CSE, you get jobs in some or the other average paying MNCs. You may choose based on your choice of location, fees etc .

• The college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University and has been also accredited 'A' grade by NAAC. 
• The college offers UG and PG programmes such as B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, Ph.D , MBA, MSc. 
• he college has the facilities like boys hostel, girsls hostel, gym,library, cafeteria, sports,medical/hospital, wifi, alumni association,transport,banking facility etc. 
• As far as the placements are considered, B.E./B.Tech students gets a package of 3.25 Lakhs. 

Now according to me JSS Academy of Technical Education is better compared to CMR and GAT interms of placements, facilities, teaching experience since it is a old college. So yes you can go for JSS Academy of Technical Education or if you want you can also go for CMR Institute of Technology which is also a good college and is better than Global Academy of Technology. So you can either go for JSS or CMR, both are equally good however in some cases JSS is better.

Yes, JSS Academy of Technical Education, Bangalore is better than DSAT.

You will see some good companies with the package of more than 5 LPA, but there are many companies which will offer 4 LPA and below. The placements in JSS Academy of Technical Education for CS and IS is better when compared to DSAT.

Both mentioned colleges struggle in placing students from mechanical department. However, in case of other branches the placement record of both the colleges is pretty good.

Sahyadri college of engineering and management, Mangalore is a better option in this case.

Overall Placements are good in college, 400+ students have been placed this year. Computer Science and Information Science students have maximum number of placements in the college. Mechanical students have less opportunities. Its still better than jssate Bangalore.

Faculty members of the college is very good in mechanical department. They are friendly and teach with full enthusiasm.
