Yes you will have to appear for UPCET counselling if you are seeking admission to 1st year of B.Tech. course in CSE in JSS Noida as it is an engineering college affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, so it will follow the same procedure for admission as prescribed by the university. Yes at 50000 rank jss noida admission is definitely possible as the cutoff of this college is generally higher as it is a private college and many people who do not get top institutions opt for this institution you may get admission in almost all branches except cse on basis of your crl rank only and you will get some advantage from your category also even if you do not get admission on basis of your merit than you can get so by management quota as jss takes direct admission of about 15%students directly so it is not a matter of concern and you can easily get into jss noida

If you go by college name then mmmut is far better than jss as mmmut is a government college while jss noida is a private college at mmmut the highest package was about 19lakhs and average was about 5lakhs on the other hand jss noida placement percentage in cs and it branches is more than 80% and highest was 40 lakhs also you should note that jss has a local advantage as it is located in noida which is an industry hub but overall if you are getting mmmut I would advice not to leave it as there the competition is better also ece branch is also computer related branch so you can try for off campus placements as well.

As i can see that you have mentioned the rank of your son’s entrance exam which is decent one but as you have also mentioned that you have applied for the college for CSE and IT stream which is a good decision because currently the most demanding branches are this both ie, CSE and IT but as you also know that being such a demanding branch it automatically attracts the students and hence it really has a great cutoff and one should really have to get a great marks in order to get admission for this branch in any good level colleges so in your case the colleges which you are looking for are the good one only you can do is keep more options of colleges as well so that at the end you will getting a good college.

First of all you need to understand that the college you are talking about is a private college affiliated to aktu and the condition of private colleges in india is not hidden they are just money making machines. Though jss is a decent college and it has some provision of direct admission through management quota so even you don't get admission through merit you might get it through management quota no need to worry but I would advice you to reattempt jee and get admission in a good iit/nit/iiit.

Dear applicant, if you really wish to take Electronics and Communication Engineering then you can try for UIET. But as a college JSS Noida is pretty much better option than UIET. If you think of placements JSS will give you starting package of 3-5 LPA as a fresher. Now the College has extremely good academic environment, the infrastructure is sophisticated and you would have a comfortable Campus life there.

JSS Academy of Technical Education was established in 1997 by JSS Mahavidyapeetha. The college is situated in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. JSS Academy of Technical Education is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technical education, Lucknow and got accreditation from National Board of Accreditation (NBA) up to 2023 for its five UG courses. JSS Academy of Technical Education offers BTech, MTech and MBA in various specialisations. The institution has collaborations with Colorado Heights University, Denver, USA for student exchange programme. JSS has other facilities for students such as IBM Centre of Excellence, Nokia Mobile Innovation Labs, etc. for enhanced exposure.

There are 80% placements for students who belong to CS or IT branches. The highest salary package offered was 40 LPA in 2019 by Adobe, whereas the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. An event named Zelicon is held every year in the month of November or December. In this event, there are ample of opportunities for students in singing, dancing, stunts, poetry, drama, robotics and many more. There are some scholarships for students who reside in Uttar Pradesh or those who belongs to the economically weaker section (EWS).

Both are private colleges in UP and are affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technical Education, Lucknow. The placement scenario is average for both institute and not much information is available regarding Average placement package for both Institutes. Although JSS Noida has better Rankings than Ajay kumar garg college. JSS Noida has NIRF Ranking in the range of 251-300 while AJAY Kumar Garg college is not ranked in NIRF.

Overall ECE at JSS Noida seems better choice than Ajay kumar garg college considering Rankings.
