if you do not want to continue engineering its okay and you need not pay the college fee of remaining semester as you will not be continuing to study in that college. you have to just inform college in advance and ask for your transfer certificate - tc from the college.

as per the previous cut off the PGCET of SJCE the general cut off for Mtech in computer science is 2600 while you are quite near side of the rank while if you have any reservation you could definately get it while data science cut is not recorded

Considering your rank,  you have no chances to get a seat in any other branch in this college except biotechnology and construction and management as for for other branches you should have a rank below 10k if you belong to general category.  Better,  try your luck in other colleges.
