Both the colleges are good in their state.
Osmania university is a state government college while HITAM is a private college.
The placement of HITAM is good , nearly 70% student get placed in HITAM. And placement record in osmania university is also very good.

Both the streams are equally good with great job prospects. Now it depends on you that what is your passion. It is advisable to opt for the branch that you are interested in. The only key point is that Manipal University has much better placement record than VTU.

while comes syllbus of biomedical engineering , the syllbus varies from collage to collage and university to university, but as per i knowledge the basic knowledge provided by all the universites will be same.
