Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar
Hello Aspirant
Having known some students at both of these schools, I can state that KIIT is promising and improving yearly. Thapar is a well-known institution with a long history. You can decide whether you like the branch or the college. Go to Thapar if mechanical engineering is what you want to study.
Thanks

I personally believe that KIIT is superior to VIT Bhopal. Since its start, one of the benefits that KIIT has provided is placement. It has an unblemished track record of campus placement. Because it produces industry-ready students, KIIT has long been a preferred talent hunting ground for the business sector. A well-organized placement team streamlines the recruitment process, ensuring that students receive the employment they want.
Every year, several companies hire students and offer them annual packages ranging from 5 to 24 lakhs.
The university excels in all areas, whether academics or extracurricular activities.
Thank you
Hope this information helps you.
YES, you can get CSE or other Branches like IT, ECE, etc in KIIT University with the above mentioned rank in KITEEE. KIIT Conducts its own exam called KIITEEE. So, in order to get CSE branch in KIITEE you must have to score a minimum rank of around 4000-5000 and a percentile score of around 87 to 95 in order to be on the safer side, to get CSE branch in KIITEE.
further, please note that the above mentioned predicted rank for KITEEE is based on the previous year Cutoff which may vary this year as the KITEEE cutoff keeps varying every year.
TO know more about the KITEEE cutoff for previous year, you can follow the below mentioned link to know more about this in detail : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/viteee-cutoff
I hope that this will help.
Yes, you can get direct admission to KIITEE. Based on your percentage in class 12th and score in KIITEE, you can get admission to different branches. If a student has a low score in KIITEE, yet he wants to get admission to KIIT, then he can get admission through the management quota.
The fee will depend upon the branches you are planning. If you don't want to give the entrance test then you can get admission through the management quota, although the cost for your case will be very high then as compared to others. If you appear for its entrance examination, then the fee would be less.
Dear aspirant hope you are doing well...
Yes direct admission is also possible for KIIT.
Direct Admission in KIIT University is possible under Management / NRI quota. Kalinga Institute of industrial training formerly known as Kalinga University is one of the best private Engineering College in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha.
Or you can also apple for entrance test.
KIITEE is the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination. The entrance exam is held for admission to all UG, PG and PhD courses offered by KIIT. It is a common entrance test.
Hope it's helpful thank you
Hello,
KIIT, not Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT) Noida, is the top college for CSE. The instructors and placements at KIIT are superior than those at JIIT Noida. On the other side, JIIT has a lower fee schedule than KIIT. You can choose, thus, which you prefer- reduced cost or better positioning.
According to Training and placement cell data, a cse b.tech student from a reputable Japanese mnc received the highest placement, which was 34 lakhs per year. There are additional such tales where kids received offers of 18–20 lakh p.a. IIM A, B, C, and other callers called many broken CATs. Some even received financial help to pursue MS degrees at prestigious colleges. This is the knowledge I have of KIIT.
