yes there CTC and communication engineering are two different branches in kiit because both the branches have different syllabus.Not everything is different in both branches ,but slight difference is there.

ECE in Katthanpur SRm campus ha sgreat placements and has seen next to 90% and above placement ratio with companies like Cisco, IBM, Huawei, Verizon, Vodafone, Airtel visiting.

Yes, you should take Computer and Communication Engineering. It's a good combination and quite new when compared to traditional engineering branches. KIIT is a decent college with good placement record. Do consider it.
