as kalinga is one of the good college to get CSE you need get below 10k but you brother is unlucky its quite hard to get CSE while on the other han he can get branches like ECE,EEE, Mech

You can get almost any branch that is available in Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar. Closing rank for CSE in 2015 was minimum that was 5000. So according to this, you can get any branch in KIIT for your graduation in Engineering.

I got a rank of under 4000 and got the CSE branch.during the councelling session,when my rank came up to choose the branch just 30 seats of cs were left!!!.
so at the most ,it would have gone to 4500(if fortunes favors you) however
yes I think you will get it because KIIT is a private institution of Bhubaneshwar.It organises KIIT entrance Test for admission in it.Mostly cut off for CS comes Under 5000.For more info visit it
