The cutoff ranks may not vary largely from year to year. Based on previous year cutoff marks, the cutoff rank for general category for computer science engineering is 5044. This year also, the rank may be similar to the previous year's rank. So, I think you may not eligible.

Both KIIT Bhubhaneswar and Jaypee Institute of Information Technology are quite good colleges for CSE.
Infrastructure of KIIT Bhubhaneswar is better than JIIT. You will get placed in any of the two easily, although placement wise JIIT is slightly better than KIIT.
Faculty is average in both colleges.
If you are from Delhi NCR region, JIIT will be option otherwise you can join any of the two keeping above factors in mind.

As Jossa counselling is about to end and most of the students have got their desired seat.So,coming to your point there is very little difference between in round 6& 7 as all the seats get filled.
There will be slight variation in closing rank in lower branchs only.
