I am glad to inform you that you surely can get CSE in SRM University but maybe not in the main campus as CSE cutoff in the main campus last year was 10,000 but you can get CSE easily in other campus and for your information your KITEEE rank is enough to get you any stream you want in KIT University.

Please note that cutoffs can vary as they depend upon factors like number of students who take the test, the difficulty level of paper, number of seats available.

First of all Congratulations for securing a sinc rank in KIITEE exam. Since KIITEE is a free entrance examination and is conducted all over the country, the total number of candidates appearing for the exam is in the figures of lakhs!(3-4lakh). Out of them around 60k candidates are called for counseling. So on that basis you secured quite a decent rank. 

With this rank you can get branches like-

Congratulations! You have secured a good rank in KIITEE exam, however you won't be getting CSE branch there since the cut off for CSE was 5K. You can get branches like electronics and electrical engineering, electronics and telecommunications,IT and some other derivative branches of CSE like computer science and system engineering, computer science and information technology, computer science and communication engineering, etc. 

Also, the rank that you have secured in KIITEE is valid only for admission in KIIT University only. On the basis of your KIITEE score you can't get admission in any other college.

You can get admission in other colleges on the basis of your JEE main score .

KIITEE exam which was conducted in a span of nine days from April 15 - Aapril 24. In this exam more then 1lakh student had appeared. 

I would first of all, would congratulate you on getting this much rank. 8748 definitely is  a good score Atlast your hardwork paid off! your rank looks pretty good and the odds are definitely in your favour right now.

Now, if you look upon previous year trends of past years then following are the branches that you are more certan to crack. They are as follows:-

(4) Electronics and Instrumentation

(5) Mechanical

(6) Automobile

(7) Electrical

(8) Electrical and Electronics.

No it is not included in fees, it is to be paid one time  .The fees for BTech per semester is 175000

3. In addition to fees mentioned above, Rs 75,000/- is to be paid(one time) at the time of admission towards Counselling, Registration, Laptop and Blazer.

4. Registration Fee per semester- Rs 1000/-

5. Examination Fee per semester- Rs 1000/-

6. Mess Fee per semester- In the range of Rs 15,000/- to 20,000/-

7. Laundry facility is also there which can be availed by giving extra fee. It is not included in the hostel fee structure.

Mess Fee changes sometimes but the rest of the fee remains the same for four years.
