if u r willing to get admissioned through lateral entry i.e. D2D(DIPLOMA TO DEGREE) then u must be clearing the exam conducted by the colege under the D2D criteria. These exams are taken as same as that of the normal entrance exam.

Its true kiit has their own entrance exam but they also accept score after kiitee counseling. A lot depends on your branch choice. Still you can clear your doubts related to placement and admission through wp 738.11.799.72.
