The cutoff scores and ranks keep varying each year due to change in difficulty, number of students attempting the paper etc. So it's quite difficult to give an exact score to get below 2000 rank. Since kcet will be considering 50% of your board exam PCM(B) score a score

Since R Via college of Engineering is a private college and it is affiliated to VTU. They don't consider JEE main marks.
The merit list and counseling is based on KCET for undergraduate course and PGCET for postgraduate course.

If you get approximately rank 1700 - 1800 , you are sure to get a seat in BVSc. So, considering that you have scored around 94–95% in puc, a 140+ in KCET should be a very safe score.
