In order to get a reputed Engineering College of your choice, you need to score above 87% in the Board Exams. In KCET, having a percentage of 83-85% would suffice. However, these rankings may vary year to year but this statistic could be taken as an average.

KEA will open the correction facility of KCET 2018 tentatively from the third week of March 2018.

The eligibility criteria state that if you have passed class 12 or have studied at least for seven years in Karnataka then one can appear for the KCET if you fulfill the above criteria then can appear for the exam.

I am sorry to say that you cannot apply for KCET examination being from another state as the eligibility criteria specifies that any candidate wishes to appear for the entrance examination should have studied and passed in one or more government or government recognized Institutions in the state of Karnataka

In previous year, the closing rank was 2205 and the fee stucture through KCET is – INR 1,00,000 / Annum.

In order to be eligible for KCET you must have studied and passed from a recognised institution situated in Karnataka. The academic study from a state institute should be for a minimum period of 7 years, starting from 1st standard to 2nd
