You just have to fulfill the basic eligibility because you are reappearing as a fresh candidate.
Appear for the KCET exam again.
Register as a new candidate.
Upload all your original documents.
Your admission will be based on the New KCET rank.

Hello

As of KCET Round 1 Cutoff 2024 for M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology (MSRIT) – Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI & ML), the cutoff ranks for the General category were approximately :

GM (General Merit): 2680 to 2800

GMK (General Kannada): 5500

SC/ST/OBC categories: Ranged from 5,000 to 15,000 depending on the sub-category.

For 2025, the expected cutoff is likely to remain similar or slightly higher depending on competition and seat availability.

In kcet option entry I didnt get medical/dental rank but in verification slip I have got my rank what to do?

If you didn’t get a medical or dental rank but your verification slip shows a rank, that rank is for engineering through KCET. Medical and dental ranks are based on NEET scores. If you didn’t submit your NEET score or didn’t qualify NEET, you won’t get a medical rank. You can go ahead with option entry for engineering or other KCET courses.

With a KCET rank of 1,65,000, getting Mechanical Engineering at PES College of Engineering, Mandya is very unlikely in the earlier rounds. In recent years, the cutoff for Mechanical has usually closed around 1,30,000 to 1,40,000 in Round 1, and in some cases extended beyond 1,60,000 in Round 2 or casual vacancy rounds, depending on the category and seat availability.

If you're from a reserved category, you might still have a chance in later rounds. Otherwise, the chances are slim. You can wait for further rounds or explore other colleges where the closing rank for Mechanical is higher.

But you still have a decent shot at getting a merit seat in some lower-tier government or private colleges, especially in branches like civil, mechanical, or EEE. You might get lucky in the later rounds or extended counselling, but it’s better to fill in as many options as possible during choice filling. Also, check if you’re eligible for any category or income-based fee concessions—that can reduce your total cost even if it’s not a 100% free seat.

first payment was unsuccessful in kcet option entry login so I did again payment and it was successful now can I get my first transaction money if yes how?

I made the first payment for KCET option entry but it was unsuccessful, so I did the payment again and the second time it was successful. I wanted to know if I can get the money back from the first failed transaction. Usually, if the first payment failed but the amount was debited, the refund gets processed automatically within a few working days. If it doesn't come back, I can contact KEA with both payment details and they’ll help. It’s important to keep the transaction IDs and payment proofs saved so that I can show them in case I need to raise a request. Most of the time, the money gets refunded without any issues if the first transaction was not successful.

to be precise its very difficult to get in bvb college with 32616 rank in kcet exam . usually for general category the rank demanded is below 7000, if you belong to reserved category you may try in later round . you can consider other branch like ECE, MECHANICAL .or try different college whose cutoff is lower in cs branch.
